We're moving!

Hula Dance Jakarta is moving to a new location! We will meet at Permata Hijau area beginning May 2009!

Hula Dance Performance at The Grape Kemang (Hafla)

Along with the Bellydance Jakarta, Hula Dance Jakarta perform its first debut to the public at Bellydance Jakarta's first Hafla in 2009. :) It was a really great night and I enjoyed spreading the greetings from Hula Dance Jakarta to the crowd.

We had a minor change on our meeting time every week due to studio's availability. Here are the confirm Hula Dance Class information for 2009. Please visit us and hula with us!

Time and Date: Every Saturday at 1.30 p.m - 2.30 p.m.

New Student Registration Fee: Rp. 100.000

Class Fees: (60 min)
Class Pass Rp. 120.000 (No Registration Fee required)
Monthly Pass Rp. 400.000 (4x Class - expires in 5 weeks)

Venue: Jl. Wijaya Timur Raya no. 12, Kebayoran Baru (Bellydance Jakarta Center)

Please wear comfortable fitness clothings to class. :)

In year 2009 :)

Dear all,

In year 2009, Hula Dance Jakarta will start its weekly basis regular classes. We will be meeting at the home of Bellydance Jakarta, Jl. Wijaya Timur Raya no. 12 at 3 p.m. every Saturday starting 17th of January.

Hula Dance Jakarta's first Hula dance workshop!

In partner with Bellydance Jakarta, Hula Dance Jakarta hosted its first workshop ever! :) It was a 2-hour workshop and 10 people came to learn the routine "Mele Ohana."

The workshop started with a brief introduction of Hula dance then some basic steps. In the second half of the workshop we focused in learning the routine of the Hawaiian song "Mele Ohana" by Keali'i Reichel. 

Everyone had a great time and I hope to see you all soon again in our regular classes starting January! :)

Hula Dance Workshop!

Hula Dance Jakarta proudly presents its first workshop on Hula Dance. The main purpose of this workshop is not only have students to learn the beautiful movement of Hula, but also get to know what is Hula Dance.

The workshop is open to female only. Please wear comfortable fitness clothings. If you have Pau Skirts already, please bring them to the workshop. If you don't have Pau Skirts, don't worry! You will be fine as long as you bring your heart and smile to the workshop! The workshop will go over some basic steps of Hula Dance and a simple choreographed routine. You will be dancing one hula number by the end of the workshop.

This is Hula Dance Jakarta's first workshop on introducing Hula Dance! Please come and join us and who knows you are one sexy hula dancer! ;)

Date: 20th December 2008

Time: 15.00 - 17.00

Price: Rp. 175.000,-
